Book 8

Today we need to discuss BOOK 8, recap Books 5-8, discuss your blogs and final and play vocabulary jam.

Your blog assignment for tomorrow will be to recap - summarize - what happens in Books 5-8.  List all the characters invovled.  List and explain a major theme and any symbols or allusions that
appeared.

Unit Learning goal: At the end of this unit, students will be able to show an understanding of the Odyssey as an Epic Poem by creating a video that lists the epic elements of the Odyssey, discusses how Odysseus fits the role of the Epic Hero, and summaries the book into six parts.
